[outfit] layering tops with lace/ zara suede shorts

I've always been a fan of layering, other than making the outfit looking less plain and more exciting it gives options when there's variation in temperature...

I've had this chiffon top with lace details from Barneys for a while, it's nice and light but almost completely see through, it's one of those could-go-either-way tops, if not worn correctly it could run the risk of looking like non-PG pajama top.

I really love the lace detail on the upper part of the top

This Dolan sweater top from is more on the baggy side, sloppy casual looking, so I thought to layer it with the chiffon to give it more excitement

Like the subtle lace detail shown on the neck

The shorts, although pretty short and very sporty looking, it being (faux) suede helps smarten it a little (would be great with over the knee boots for winter i thought.. (if we ever GET winter that is.. ha)

Last minute shoe change.. to ballerinas.. boots were too hot!
